This policy explains when Claimly Auto orders are refunded. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
If an order is sold into a state or situation where the purchased service is unavailable under our service criteria (for example, a claim our eligibility rules should have blocked before checkout), we cancel the order and issue a full refund automatically — you do not need to ask.
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before an appraiser begins work on your report. Contact us from your dashboard or the Contact page.
If required evidence is never provided and the order cannot be completed after our follow-up attempts, we may offer a credit or a partial refund at our discretion.
The appointed-appraiser service follows its own refund rules, separate from report refunds. You receive a full refund if you cancel before an appraiser is appointed and before appraisal work begins; if our records show the settlement was already accepted or a release was signed (the service cannot be used — refunded automatically); or if the appraisal process cannot proceed for reasons outside your control before substantive appraisal work has begun.
No refund is owed once the appointed appraiser has begun substantive valuation work, or after the appraisal concludes by agreement or award — at any amount. The outcome of an appraisal is never a ground for a refund.
When the service was purchased as an upgrade to a total loss report, these rules apply to the upgrade amount only: a service refund never affects your original report order or its deliverables.
A delivered report is an independent professional opinion of value — it is not refundable because you disagree with the amount, and it is not refundable because an insurer or other party declines to accept it or does not change its decision. See our Disclaimers: we never promise any particular outcome.
If your insurer responds with $0 or an offer below what you paid for the report, the Rebuttal Guarantee may apply instead — see the Rebuttal Guarantee terms.
If a delivered report contains a genuine error, we correct it and issue a re-signed version. A refund is issued if the problem cannot be corrected.
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved faster than a dispute. We respond to payment disputes with the order's documentation where a refund was not already due under this policy.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor. Processing times depend on your bank.
