Answers to common questions about diminished value, eligibility, and how Claimly Auto works.
Even after a quality repair, a vehicle with an accident on its history often sells for less than one without. That difference is its diminished value. Claimly Auto helps you document that loss with an independent report prepared and signed by a professional appraiser.
Our free estimate checks your state's general rules and your accident details, then explains plainly whether a report is likely to help. In some states a claim generally isn't recoverable — we'll tell you rather than sell you something that can't work.
After you start a report, a short guided intake collects your vehicle details and documents — typically a repair invoice, a trade-in or purchase quote, and damage photos. You can save and return anytime.
A final repair invoice, a recent trade-in or purchase offer, damage photos, and your vehicle history help support the value. Missing items are optional, but they can affect the strength of your report.
Most reports are completed within a few business days after your documents are submitted. We'll email you at each step and the moment your signed report is ready.
If your claim isn't eligible in your state, you won't be charged. For other refund questions, please contact us and we'll help. (Exact refund terms are described in our Terms of Service.)
